What is Virtual School? 

Any virtual school is a rigorous, self-driven, online school that requires students to take ownership of their own learning.

Many students find these programs more successful with flexible scheduling than traditional school environments.

Virtual School Structure

Lesson Completion

Students have Monday through Sunday night to complete their lessons on their weekly planners.

Lessons are completed in sequential order. 

​

Live Lessons

Students are to attend Live Lessons that are scheduled during class time.

Recordings of Live Lessons that fall outside of class time should be watched as soon as possible. 

​

School Emails

Students need to check emails daily to keep up with important information

and modifications from teachers and school staff. 

​

State Testing

Students are required to take STAAR/EOC tests at designated testing

locations if they are attending a public school.

Note-Taking

An individualized system will be created with your child and

Learning Coach to effectively utilize their study habits.
